Posting Text | The School of Education, Counseling, and Human Development (ECHD) is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor of Counseling at our main campus in Brookings, South Dakota with a start date of August 2024. This is full-time, benefit-eligible, nine-month, tenure-track position. Primary responsibilities include teaching, research, advising/mentorship of graduate students, and service. The College houses 15 majors and 22 minors and serves roughly 2,200 students each year. South Dakota State University is located in Brookings, a beautiful college town of about 24,000 residents. Brookings is located 60 miles north of Sioux Falls, 4.5 hours west of Minneapolis, 3 hours south of Fargo, and 3 hours north of Omaha.
