Position Summary
The Department of Communicative Disorders (Public Health) in the College of Health Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor.

Qualifications


Minimum Required Education
Master of Arts, Master of Science or Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders; (or Ph.D. or Ed.D. in a closely related area).
Minimum Required Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience.
Minimum Required Licenses and/or Certifications
This position will provide clinical supervision and mentoring; therefore a clinical certification in speech-language pathology is required.
Qualifications
Candidates with teaching interests in acquired language disorders, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, and voice are preferred, but all areas will be considered.

  • Teaching speech-language pathology and/or audiology for undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Clinical supervision and mentoring.
  • Academic advising.
  • Conducting research in the area of expertise.
  • Participating in University and professional services.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
