The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is recruiting a faculty Child Clinical Psychologist (PhD level), eligible for a Texas Psychologist license (must have a license prior to the start date), to provide services including clinical assessment and direct clinical care, to support grant and clinical contract development and implementation in our outpatient practices. 

The applicant should have skills in cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy, as well as motivational interviewing, and other supportive therapy. Applicant should be experienced with the treatment of children who have complex diagnoses and delivery of assessment measures across the lifespan.  Prior experience working with children who have a multitude of behavioral health, or developmental conditions is required. Comfortability with treating adults or interacting with caregivers and parents is preferred. The psychologist will see clients and aid with program development and administration within the Department of Psychiatry specifically at the New Opportunities for (NOW) or the Transitional Care Clinic (TCC).
