Wayne State University is searching for an Assistant Professor - Civil & Environmental Engineering at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):

Wayne State University has an available position of Assistant Professor in Detroit, MI.

Teach undergraduate & graduate university courses in civil & construction engineering including:

Introduction to Construction Engineering & Management (CE 4020/6010); Construction Accounting & Financial Management (CE 7860); Building Information Modeling (CE 6880); Construction Techniques & Methods (CE 6060); Construction Cost Estimating (CE 6050); & Integrated Construction Project Management (CE 7890).

Advise students.

Conduct research in building design quality management.

Publish results of research in peer-reviewed journals & present results at professional conferences. 


Qualifications:

Position requires a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.

Position also requires: 1) Ph.D. dissertation in building design quality management.
