Position Summary
The Chemistry Department at The University of Memphis invites applications for Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Faculty position to start August 2023 pending availability of funds. The successful candidate will be expected to: establish a vigorous, innovative, externally funded research program; recruit and attract students at the graduate and undergraduate levels; and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Minimum Position Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related discipline. Post-doctoral experience is highly desirable.

Desired candidates will have a proposed research program that strengthens existing research activities in the department, such as medicinal, nanomaterials, computational, or environmental focus areas; see our website at http://www.memphis.edu/chem for additional information about on-going research.
