Position Summary
Assistant Professor, tenure-track, within the College of Health Sciences (CHS). Position #002926. Write external grant applications, conduct studies as a primary investigator and collaborator, analyze study-generated data, and submit manuscripts as well as professional presentations pertaining to these research activities. Direct the Master of Science degree program in Environmental Nutrition. Teach a total of two courses each fall and spring semester in the relevant curriculum. Supervise and mentor PhD and MS students in research. A start-up package is negotiable based on needs.
Minimum Position Qualifications
An earned doctoral degree in nutrition or a related area, broadly defined. CHS is particularly interested in applicants with a research focus on food systems, community nutrition, sustainability, public health nutrition, or an analogous area of study. Qualified applicants should have a publication record and the ability to effectively write manuscripts and external funding proposals.  Candidates at the Associate Professor level should have a record of attracting external funding and demonstrated success at leading an independent research line.
