ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
The University of South Florida Taneja College of pharmacy invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The candidate will be joining a clinical practice department with existing clinical and research collaborations among faculty within USF Health, VA Hospital, Tampa General Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Research Center, and other healthcare institutions in the Tampa Bay area. The clinical duties of this position will involve helping to build an Inpatient Pharmacogenomics Service at our flagship teaching hospital Tampa General Hospital (TGH), alongside our current Pharmacogenomics faculty member and the interdisciplinary team at TGH. Expansion of services may be considered in the future. The department has a strategic plan to start post-doctoral training programs and practice in Clinical Pharmacogenomics.
POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching Duties (30% FTE): as assigned
Clinical Duties (30% FTE): The effort may be dedicated to activities that align with the incumbent?s professional discipline
Service (20% FTE): As assigned
Research Duties (10% FTE): The effort may be dedicated to activities that align with the incumbent?s professional discipline
Other duties (10% FTE): As assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution with post-graduate residency and/or fellowship training in Clinical Pharmacogenomics.
Candidates for this position must be licensed OR eligible for pharmacy licensure in Florida.
The qualified candidate must have a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, research, clinical pharmacy practice and service and
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
PREFERRED:
Prior experiential teaching experience teaching experience in a Doctor of Pharmacy program is preferred.
Candidates who hold BPS Board Certification are encouraged to apply.
