Summary of Job Duties:
The position includes teaching in face-to-face, hybrid, online, and weekend formats across the undergraduate and graduate education programs as well as liaising with schools, state and community organizations. The incumbent works positively with other faculty, staff, students, and the community, teaches courses as assigned in keeping with University workload policy, has an active research/creative work agenda, and participates in university and community service. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
- PhD, EdD, or ABD in an Education field;
- Teaching experience.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Teaching experience in a K-12 setting;
- Research consistent with departmental focus and needs;
- College teaching experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach in face-to-face, online, and weekend formats;
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses as assigned;
- Have an active research agenda;
- Collaborate to strengthen the middle childhood program;
- Participate in university and community service;
- Work positively with faculty, staff, students, and the community.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
