A PhD in History is required. ABD will be considered, but candidates must have PhD in hand by time of appointment. The successful candidate will have experience teaching one or more of the required courses and a record of effective teaching leading to student success. Candidates in any U.S. field are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates who complement or extend our current course offerings, as well as to those candidates who show interest in coordinating our history and social studies teacher certification program.
