Job Description

The Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) College of Business, Department of Management & Marketing, invites applicants for a non-tenure track Assistant Professional Professor of Management to begin in fall 2023. This position is open to all areas of Management and all disciplines in the field of management will be considered. This position will teach a variety of management-related courses and manage the College of Business student internship efforts . This position is a 9-month appointment and will be located at the Corpus Christi campus. The workload for professional track faculty is a 5:5 per academic year. One course credit per semester may be dedicated to supporting and managing student internships.

The TAMU-CC College of Business is accredited in both business and accounting by AACSB International and serves a diverse student body on the Corpus Christi Island Campus, on the Brazos Valley RELLIS Campus, and online. The College curricula at the undergraduate and graduate levels include online BBA, MBA, and Master of Accountancy (MAcc) programs. Required Qualifications:   

  • Terminal degree (e.g., PhD or DBA) in Management or closely related discipline.

  • 18 graduate credit hours in Management or closely related discipline.

  • Demonstrated record of teaching excellence in management or closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Earned degrees from an AACSB accredited college.

  • A portfolio of professional managerial experience.

  • Experience with online instruction.

  • Experience with managing internships and/or internship programs.

Salary: $78,022. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
