Posting Text | The Assistant or Associate Director of Research for the Center for Rural Health Improvement (CRHI) will be responsible for leading a team in development and implementation of a comprehensive research portfolio for the Center for Rural Health Improvement (CRHI). CRHI is housed in Sanford School of Medicine and hosts a wide portfolio of work based on social determinants of health. The scope of work will include, but is not limited to writing proposals/manuscripts, overseeing a team to execute proposals/manuscripts and other reports as directed by the portfolio of CRHI, working with internal and external stakeholders to support data, research, and related project functions, lead grant writing and evaluation for the SD Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program Office, assist in leading the expansion and maintenance of CRHI portfolio, lead the research and evaluation related pieces of the CRHI portfolio, execute other related deliverables from contracts/grants as necessary, work with staff and students to further research experience, and assist the Director of CRHI as needed. Title/salary will depend on education and experience. Applicants at a minimum will require a master’s degree, five or more years of related work experience, grant writing, research methodologies, evaluation, and data analytics. Associate Director title will require a PhD in Political Sciences, Criminal Justice, Public Health, Counseling, or Graduate school degree related to social determinants of health with three or more years of related work experience, grant writing, research methodologies, evaluation, and data analytics. |
