Job Description

Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach (Part-Time) will assist the Head Men’s Soccer Coach with an intercollegiate soccer program. The position is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Texas A&M University-San Antonio (A&M-San Antonio), the Red River Athletics Conference (RRAC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). In addition, this person must be committed to the education Mission of the University. A&M-San Antonio proudly boasts its designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution and Military Embracing™ university.  Currently enrolling approximately 7,000 students, Texas A&M University-San Antonio is one of the fastest-growing universities in the state.

Responsibilities:

  • On-field coaching.

  • Field maintenance.

  • Driving/team transportation (Must possess a valid Driver's license for the transportation of student-athletes).

Education and Experience:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Knowledge in familiarity with the NAIA and RRAC.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Ability to be on rental agreement(s) for 15-passenger vans.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
