Position Purpose
The School of Nursing at the University of Central Missouri invites applicants for the position of Assistant Instructor of Nursing. This 9-month tenure track faculty appointment will being August 2024. We are looking for faculty who are committed to providing quality and innovation in nursing.

The Position’s Responsibilities include:
  • This position is primarily for the undergraduate program including face to face, clinical, and skills teaching.
  • Faculty assignments, committee work, and development of curriculum will be dependent upon program assessment and school needs.
  • Faculty are expected to actively participate in committee work, service activities, and student advising.
Education & Formal Training Master's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)

Required:
  • Earned Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing

Preferred:
  • Doctorate in Nursing (DNP or PhD)

Experience
Required:
  • Two years nursing experience within the last five years.
  • Unencumbered, current, active registered nursing licensure in Missouri
