Position Description
The Department of Mathematics in the Physical Sciences Division at the University of Chicago invites applications for a position as Assistant Instructional Professor beginning September 1, 2022. This is a career position, with an initial term of up to three years, with time reserved for professional development. Duties include conducting a range of undergraduate courses in mathematics including single and multivariable calculus, preparing courses, and reviewing and grading assignments. The terms and conditions of employment for this position are covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the University. 
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mathematics or closely related field required.
