This position performs first-line basic care, feeding, and husbandry of all species of animals used in research at UNMC (University of Nebraska Medical Center) in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards.

This position is considered essential personnel and will be required to work some weekends, holidays, and overtime if indicated. This position may be required to take part on the Comparative Medicine emergency team which will be activated during severe weather and/or unusual circumstances where personnel must stay on site for extended periods to ensure all UNMC animals are cared for. (E)
