Job Summary
Serve as hearing coordinator. Will ensure all hearings are properly scheduled in the required time frame, meeting all requirements. Serve as the housing liaison. Will provide training to the Residential Life staff and will be the point of contact for any questions or concerns that staff may have. Prepare the weekly report for Monday morning Behavior Assessment and Intervention meetings. Will serve as the backup to the Director in their absence. Administer, investigate, adjudicate, and resolve misconduct and academic dishonesty cases. Respond to BAIT reports, meet with students, and make appropriate campus referrals. Present information at Orientations. These duties may change with a shift in student needs. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field and three plus years relevant professional experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Five years working in higher education. Three years of direct experience adjudicating misconduct cases and managing student behavior intervention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position will report to the Director of the Office of Community Standards. In addition to the job duties of the Conduct Specialist, the Assistant Director will serve as the hearing coordinator and housing liaison. Will assume the administrative responsibilities of the director in that person’s absence.

Remote Work Notice:
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
