ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS RECRUITING, Sloan School of Management, to be responsible for developing and managing recruiting and conversion strategies and implementing initiatives to attract prospective qualified applicants for the MIT Sloan master’s degree programs, including Master of Business Administration (MBA), Sloan Fellows (SFMBA), Master of Finance (MFin), Master of Business Analytics (MBAn), MBA Early Admissions, and Master of Science in Management Studies (MSMS).  Will collaborate closely with the associate director of admissions recruiting and the admissions leadership team to drive global recruiting and conversion activities across Sloan’s master’s degree programs; manage relationships with external constituents (e.g., current students, alumni, the program offices, the Office of External Relations (OER), and other professional organizations); and serve as an active member of admissions’ committees, reading applications, interviewing candidates, and participating in the selection process for seating each class.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least one year of admissions experience; strong project management skills, including ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, motivate project teams, and manage budgets; experience with predictive modeling and a desire for advanced-level proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; initiative in seeking out ways to perform duties with greater efficiency and accuracy and to cultivate such an environment in the team; excellent presentation skills; ability to work with/within a diverse community by modeling and promoting the values of MIT, including advocating for and demonstrating an understanding of the qualities that promote and sustain such a community; and experience working with senior leaders.  Job #20605-6
