Assistant Director of Recreation, Intramural & Club Sports  
The Assistant Director is responsible for providing a comprehensive structured sports program including the operations of a diverse & dynamic offering of intramural sports and oversight of the club sports program including 33 club sports teams, 50 coaches, & 1,200+ students.  
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least four (4) years of related experience. Master's degree preferred.
Certified in American Red Cross CPR, AED, & First Aid.
Experience must include at least two (2) years of supervision.
Excellent communication, organization, management, leadership and professional skills.
A demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a goal-oriented team.
A working computer knowledge using Microsoft Office in a Windows/network environment.  
Develop & market a comprehensive annual calendar of activities that reflects the needs, interests, & desires of the campus ? including leagues, tournaments, one day activities, special events, & extramural sports
Develop and implement intramural sports policy manual and event rules, including all forms, waivers & releases, scoresheets, participation records, etc.
Provide leadership to and supervise the Coordinator of Intramural Sports
Oversee the club sports program and supervise & provide leadership to the Coordinator of Club Sports (1) and Club Sport Athletic Trainers (2)
Develop, implement, & oversee the risk management policies and procedures for all facets of structured sports including club sport practices & home games, intramural league & tournaments, and staffing to meet those needs
Take lead on being point person for Club Sport coaches and conduct 1-2 meetings per year
Develop and implement Club Sports Recognition Trainings alongside Club Sports Coordinator
Provide leadership and oversight of the hiring, training, and evaluation of intramural supervisors, officials, and game staff
Develop and maintain internal network of student leader contacts on all levels of the University- commuter, residents, fraternity & sorority life, graduate students, etc.
Incorporate faculty/staff into events.
Complete participant & staff evaluations each term, as well as term and annual reports for intramural & club sports
Develop, propose and execute budget to meet equipment, operational and personnel needs of the intramural sports & club sports program.
Establish & maintain an inventory system for intramural and safety equipment.
Work with student organizations, campus departments on annual University calendar of events with sports programming needs, ie- Greek Week, Welcome Week, Open Houses, Homecoming, etc.
Represent Drexel and serve as active committee professional in Philadelphia City 6 Extramural Sports Association.
Other duties as assigned.
