Position Summary/Description:


Flexible work arrangements, including virtual/hybrid work locations, are an integral part of the School of Medicine's Working Forward initiative. As such, this position's work location is designated as hybrid. Please note that the designated work location is subject to change based on the unit's business needs.

The Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications (ADMC) is responsible for creating and maintaining marketing and communications content in support of the strategic priorities of the Offices of Medical Student Education (OMSE) including the Office of Admissions, Office of Curricular Affairs, Office of Educational Effectiveness, and the Office of Student Affairs. The ADMC controls and oversees the key messages, tactics, and flow of information between the OMSE leadership team, students, staff, faculty, stakeholders, and the public.
Working with administrative and academic leaders in the Offices of Medical Student Education, the Assistant Director for Marketing and Communications creates, deploys, and maintains high-quality editorial and other content on associated websites, social media accounts, print materials, and through other internal and external channels.
This position reports to the Senior Director for Medical Student Education (OMSE) and oversees OMSE administrative support team members.

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
