Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, and executing University policies, procedures and practices relating to the comprehensive scope of fraternity and sorority life. Designs, implements, and evaluates student leadership opportunities within fraternity and sorority life that enhance learning, involvement in campus life, leadership development, and success outside the classroom. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate; Some evening and weekend work may be required. 

Responsibilities:
20% Advises and supports all Greek governing councils and their member organizations; Serves as the primary liaison between the University, the Greek-lettered social sororities/fraternities organizations, advisors, alumni, parents, the City of Stephenville, and international offices; Adjudicates fraternity/sorority judicial matters and cases through the Greek Judicial Board; Assists with Greek programming, implementation and evaluation; Oversees new member recruitment process for each council and conducts all Greek-life related meetings; Works with Greek Organizations on philanthropic efforts and community service; Serves as a resource for chapter officers and members, and alumnae boards; Represents the University at individual or alumnae functions; Assists chapters in the identification and selection process of advisors; Develops and delivers educational initiatives, leadership training and campus-wide programs, including advisor training, health & wellness and hazing; Works closely with other campus constituencies to promote and facilitate the Greek Life.

20% Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, and executing university policies, procedures and practices relating to the comprehensive scope of fraternity and sorority life; Designs, implements and evaluates student leadership opportunities within fraternity and sorority life that enhance learning, involvement in campus life, leadership development, and success outside the classroom; Focused development towards a Greek Community within University housing; Serves as an advisor to Order of Omega; develop, monitor and manage the program budget; Oversees the development and the ongoing maintenance/updating of the program web page; Manages programmatic marketing publications, license agreements and handbooks; Reviews and negotiates contracts as needed; Maintains a thorough knowledge of state and university policies and regulations as they relate to liability issues and contract negotiations; Assists in the development and supports partnerships with academic and student life departments to create and enhance student learning.

20% Serves with other staff in devising, implementing and evaluating departmental goals, policies, organization and program; Works closely with professional staff to help achieve departmental objectives relating to student leadership and programming; Responsible for all assessment activities for the department and for producing necessary annual reports.

10% Responsible for the budget and supervision of administrative support staff, graduate assistant staff, and undergraduate student employees as related to assigned responsibilities; Coordinates staff selection, training and staff development; reports to the Director for Campus Life.

10% Responsible for building an on campus Greek Life community; researching opportunities to add new Greek organizations to campus to meet the diverse views of the population.

10% Provide training and development for Greek organizations and student leadership in current issues in higher education and Greek Life including hazing, Title IX, alcohol usage, rights and responsibilities.

5% Participates in appropriate professional development activities related to the effective completion of professional responsibilities.

5% Represents the department and Division of Student Affairs at university functions when appropriate; Assumes responsibility for other special projects and committee work as delegated. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in student affairs work or related specialty area, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preferred Education:

-Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership or other related field; previous experience with student leadership and fraternity and sorority life preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
