Position Purpose
Plans, develops, organizes, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates a comprehensive fitness service provided through the Student Recreation Center. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fitness rooms, cardio/weight area, track, and gymnasium.
Responsible for the marketing, advertising and communication of Student Recreation Center activities.
Supervision assistance of student workers and front desk routine.
Education & Formal Training Master's degree (Specify field(s) of study below)
Other Education & Formal Training
Master’s degree in the following field(s) of study: Recreation, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Corporate Fitness, Marketing or Business required.
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation
Experience
Two (2) years of experience working in a college/university environment required. Experience working as a graduate assistant will be considered.
Two (2) years of experience programming and planning recreational and fitness programs required.
Supervisory experience preferred.

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Criminal History check

Basic First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
Personal Training certificate preferred.
