Advertised Job Summary | The Assistant Director provides effective leadership to the custodial services units that are responsible for the regular care and cleaning of approximately 2.1 million gross square feet of residence hall space with a budget of over $2 million on the Columbia campus of the University of South Carolina. Minimum Qualifications | An associate’s degree and 7 years professional experience directly related to the area of employment, or high school diploma and 9 years related experience. Valid driver’s license required. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | This position requires a thorough knowledge of the custodial services business operations, with emphasis in safety practices as it pertains to relevant areas of employment. Knowledge of business management practices, personnel management, planning, problem solving, and conflict resolution are essential. Computer literacy required. |
