Job Description Boston College seeks a collaborative individual to serve in the position of Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Following the mission of the college and the Office of Student Services, this position serves as a bridge between students? financial needs and their educational goals while assuming the responsibility of equitably awarding institutional, federal, and state funding. Title and salary commensurate with relevant experience based on the following titles and hiring ranges: Requirements A Bachelor's degree. At least two to three years of direct financial aid experience or three to four years in a related field in higher education. Proven experience analyzing student cases, determining financial aid eligibility, and awarding aid in accordance with state, federal, and institutional policy. Demonstrated ability to explain and interpret policy and practice. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume workload and operate in a hectic environment. Familiarity with document management systems preferred. Additional hours may be necessary during the financial aid awarding cycle from February through June and during Admission Open Houses.
