  • JOB DUTIES

Description

The Assistant Director provides operations leadership for Department of Medicine education program business functions including but not limited to: events, purchasing, ISS support, Human Resources, and annual academic year transition. Directly oversee activities across Department of Medicine programs, ensuring that events are within budget and in compliance with University policy. Manage and supervise purchasing requests and resident/faculty reimbursements. Provide ISS support, submit service tickets and troubleshoot CareConnect issues. Maintain HR actions, files, and reporting. Partner with Education Director on operational needs related to annual academic year transitions. Salary Range: $5,616.67 – $11,116.67/Month

Qualifications

Required: * Detailed knowledge of and demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * Skill in setting priorities to complete work in a timely manner when there are changes in workload, pressures of deadlines, and competing requirements. * Ability to carefully monitor the details and quality of own and others’ work; ability to demonstrate high attention to detail. * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, faculty, housestaff, and others. * Excellent oral communication skills to relay complex information with accuracy and diplomacy. * Excellent written communication skills to independently compose professional correspondence * Ability to maintain organized records. * Experience coordinating a GME program * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Preferred: * Working knowledge of GME systems such as MedHub, ERAS, OnCall/Amion, and Thalamus
