Summary of Duties | Assistant Dir-Enrollment Svcs provides a high level of support to the Admissions Office by assisting the Associate Dean for Admissions, the Assistant Dean for Admissions, and the Assistant Director of Admissions in a wide range of activities, including but not limited to, customer service to prospective students through a broad range of communication mechanisms; maintaining admissions database and applicant admission process; serves as a liaison with internal and external constituencies; data analysis and management; provides support as needed with regard to all on-campus and on-line recruiting events; creates and maintains applicant materials used in making admissions decisions; ensures that files are completed in a timely manner; oversees data entry and changes to applicant files; responsible for software upgrades to ACES2 as needed; counsels prospective law students; supervises admissions associate and 1-2 work study students; assists with execution of on-campus visitation events; oversee a variety of email communications and ensure timely response; attends SIS meetings, admissions conferences, forums and law fairs as needed; responsible for development and implementation of effective office procedures and various systems used with admissions unit; assists with on-line and other recruitment efforts; other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean. |

Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree. The ideal candidate for this job will have a strong commitment to, and significant experience in, student focused customer service in law admissions; to working in a team-centered, goal oriented environment; and to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information; the position requires an individual with professional experience in the use of database information systems; data entry; word processing, significant experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; familiarity with the process of admitting students to a professional program within higher education; experience in working with a diverse group of individuals; solid interpersonal skills. |
