The Highlights
The Assistant Dean of Enrollment Services provides leadership over degree and non-degree programs enrollment services at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. This position guides strategic enrollment management and marketing to achieve sustainable and optimal enrollment, and increased market share, while balancing mission and quality outcomes. The Assistant Dean also ensures sound and effective operational and tactical enrollment plans that align with contemporary practice.
Is This You?
  • (Leads enrollment services and recruitment strategy for the school, particularly in the areas as follows: Overseeing and advancing the progression of the degree and non-degree enrollment funnel. Employs measurable strategies to expand recruitment efforts through individual enrollments; educational, organizational, and corporate relationships; and post-admit conversion initiatives. Assess predictive modeling outputs to strategically forecast quarterly enrollment trends, melt, and yield, and in turn, takes action to achieve goals; offers guidance based on analysis of market trends, from data available from DePaul EMM/IRMA, and external sources.
  • Analyzes and reports on enrollment trends to offer recommendations for scheduling courses for degree and non-degree programs;Recommends scheduling for multiple delivery modes: online, on-campus, and on-site (off-campus), including alternative calendaring options such as on demand access to nondegree courses. Fosters relationships with academic and administrative units to support student enrollment. Informs efforts to proactively analyze retention and attrition trends and collaborates on initiatives across the School and University to stem attrition and increase retention.
  • Develop and analyze effective and efficient product/price/place/promotion model and provide direction and advice to faculty and administrators to enhance current programs and attract prospects. Researches and reports enrollment and market trends, and growth opportunities; identifies emerging markets to attract diverse lifelong learners. Responsible for new and continuing program recruitment and marketing strategies. Counsels stakeholders on new program development with respect to enrollment trends and opportunities, and designs new program launch and recruitment campaigns.
  • Deploys appropriate technology, marketing, media, and other tools and resources to achieve the goals of the unit and school. Ensures the effective and efficient awareness, cultivation, application, and enrollment programs; manages vendor relationships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Education & Experience
  • Required: master's degree preferably in business, higher education administration, or analytics; plus a minimum 5 years experience in enrollment management, recruitment, admissions, analytics, or academic administration.

Managerial Responsibilities
  • This person will supervise 3 direct reports: 2 full-time staff and 1 part-time staff; plus occasional student employees.

Financial Responsibilities
  • The Assistant Dean shall advise on budgets and resources to support enrollment services and activities. The Assistant Dean will also establish and maintain accountability to budgeted allocations in these areas.

Other Skills & Abilities Required
  • CRM, prospect/student application systems, data analytics, visualization, and forecasting models, intermediate Excel.
