The Assistant Coordinator for Student-Athlete Experience will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Deputy Athletics Director for Administration and Student-Athlete Experience. The Assistant Coordinator will gain experience in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) administration and planning and evaluating programming, as well as a deeper understanding of athletics department structure and operations.The selected candidate will subscribe to and support our commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accountability as stated above. What you need to know

Salary: $12 - $20/hour (Based on experience)

Work Schedule:  ​Some nights and weekends may be required.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience

  • 1 year of experience at an NCAA institution with Student-Athlete Services (or equivalent) department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with coaches, supervisors, and/or peers.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in business, sports management, higher education, student affairs, or related fields

  • Current or former student-athlete experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for NIL Task Force - Attend weekly meetings and organize meeting notes and files. Schedule team workshops, recruiting presentations, and additional meetings on behalf of the task force. Support all members of the task force by ensuring deadlines are being met and timelines are followed. Communicate with the task force and external partners via both written and verbal communication.

  • Administrative support for Deputy AD of Administration and Student-Athlete Experience - Provide administrative support for the Deputy AD for Administration and Student-Athlete Experience including but not limited to managing calendar appointments, creating presentations or documents, organizing files, communicating with internal and external partners, and attending meetings.

  • Compliance - Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.  Performs other duties as assigned.
