Position Summary Information


Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) is located within the Vice Chancellor’s Office for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. OTC manages the University’s intellectual property including patenting, marketing and negotiating licenses for the commercialization of University owned inventions. KickStart Ventures is a division within OTC that supports faculty founded startups.
Position Summary
The Assistant Compliance Manager supports the license management program with guidance from the Compliance Manager. The Assistant Compliance Manager’s responsibilities include assisting with the license section of the OTC database, ensuring data accuracy and coordinating data cross references and actions necessary for the administration of license agreements with guidance from the Compliance Manager and the business officer.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
