Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to perform administrative support duties related to the collection of clinical data and/or the coordination of clinical studies. Work under supervision of the principal investigator and/or study coordinator/supervisor. This position will support the Brain Stimulation Lab under the direction of PI Dr. Nolan Williams investigating novel forms of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 Year Degree
  • General Understanding of research principles
  • Previous research experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of TMS techniques is a plus
  • Experience in TMS Administration is a plus
  • Strong preference will also be given to candidate with the above skills and also knowledge of regulatory procedures for clinical trials including IRB submission.
  • Knowledge of FDA, Office for Human Research Protection (OHRP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and practices is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

  • Two year college degree and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

  • General knowledge of medical terminology.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

  • BLS/CPR encouraged but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use fine light/fine grasping.
  • Occasionally sit, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, use a telephone and write by hand, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
  • Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, sort and file paperwork or parts, rarely lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh 40 pounds or more.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
