The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a licensed clinical psychologist with specialty training/interest in health psychology and cognitive behavior therapy for an immediately available clinician-educator position in the Long Covid and Mood Disorder Clinics, academic rank commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary consultation and evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) service delivery both in person and via telehealth. Interest and expertise in evidence-based behavioral medicine interventions for insomnia, fatigue, health anxiety and/or other health conditions is required. The successful candidate will join a productive multidisciplinary team of clinicians and grant-funded researchers dedicated to investigating and treating Long Covid as well as an academic department of psychiatry with a robust psychology faculty presence, including a team of psychologists, which offers strong support for faculty mentorship and advancement.
Candidate qualifications include a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology with completion of an APA approved internship, training and experience in health psychology and cognitive behavior therapy and licensed or license eligible in Illinois.
