Position Summary
The Department of Tourism, Event, and Sport Management in the School of Health & Human Sciences at Indiana University invites applications for a 10-month appointment tenure track faculty position.
The responsibilities of the position will include teaching and providing leadership for the sports analytics graduate program, teaching-related undergraduate courses in sports management, collaborating with industry to fund research and provide students with research opportunities, and service to the university and profession.
Duties
· Teach graduate-level research and analytics courses in the sports analytics.
· Teach undergraduate courses in sport management and tourism program.
· Collaborate with industry partners and seek new opportunities with business partners.
· Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals in sports analytics, AI, or related areas.
· Seek external funding to support research in SHHS and the IUI research enterprise.
· Serve the department, school, and campus.

Basic Qualifications
A doctorate in sports management or related field, data analytics, or business intelligence is preferred. At a minimum, applicants must have a doctoral degree in a related area.
