Job Description
 

The University of Missouri, is searching for a full-time faculty member with research expertise in Nuclear Medicine, theranostics and/or novel radiopharmaceutical development and testing.  The University of Missouri has unparalleled infrastructure and basic science faculty collaborators to develop the next generation of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapy. With the largest University research reactor in the US (MURR) producing Iodine-131, Lutetium-177 and the new wave of beta emitting radionuclides and new infrastructure for pre-clinical and human imaging, MU is seeking a scientist in the field of nuclear medicine to translate novel theranostics developed by world-class radiochemists, biochemists, and veterinary oncologists into first-in-human and beyond studies.  An interest and aptitude in leading clinical trials desired. Candidates with experience in translational/clinical research, working in collaborative teams, and leading and/or participating in extramurally funded research are preferred.  American Board of Radiology certified or eligible Diagnostic Medical Physicist experience is highly desirable. Dedicated academic time will be commensurate with the candidate’s research productivity and extramural funding.  

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in research and scholarly activities.
