Job Summary:
Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (FDU SoP&HS) seeks applicants for tenure-track Faculty within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This is a tenure-track, 12-months appointment at a rank of assistant or associate professor. The faculty member will be responsible for developing and delivering Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum that integrates pharmacology and other pharmaceutical sciences-related topics with pharmacy practice. Faculty member should have an on-going commitment to active learning and utilization of educational technology tools. Faculty member will develop a research agenda and be active in research and scholarship in the area of expertise. Service on School and/or University committees will also be required for tenure evaluation. A diverse knowledge base and skill set are highly desirable.
FDU SoP&HS is located in Northern New Jersey. The School offers an integrated 4-year Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. Further, concurrent Master’s degree programs are available to qualified pharmacy students.

Required Qualifications:
Education, training, experience:
· A Ph.D. degree is required. Understanding of pharmacy curriculum related to pharmaceutical sciences is required. A professional degree in pharmacy or a background in pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
· Faculty candidates specializing in pharmacology are especially encouraged to apply.
· Teaching and research records will qualify the faculty candidate for the rank of assistant or associate professor.
· Demonstrated experience and ability to adapt teaching to various learning styles and levels of learners are highly desirable.
