Assistant/Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (DOQ)

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated individual to support and develop the clinical curriculum to provide dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the treatment of the Oral and Maxillofacial patient. The successful candidate for this 12-month, non-tenure track position will work with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our capacity as a national resource for the dental profession.  Specific responsibilities will focus on clinical and didactic teaching at the pre-doctoral level, participation in research, service activities, and delivering continuing dental education for the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.


Primary appointment will be in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Candidates must possess a dental degree (DDS/DMD) and a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognized program accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), equivalent post-graduate training, or have documented experiential qualifications.  Candidates must also be able to obtain a dental license in the State of Nebraska for which they are eligible and licensure for sedation. Rank will be determined upon qualifications and credentials of the successful candidate.

Qualifications:
