Position Description
The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks applicants for a full-time non-tenure track position (Professor of Instruction or Practice, rank open) to help with the growth of our undergraduate program in Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will be required to develop and teach courses in Introduction to Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, HR Analytics, and potentially others. The level of appointment will depend on the candidate's educational background, teaching experience, and industry experience. Applicants for this position must have experience and teaching credentials in the key areas listed above (while research is certainly welcome, this is a teaching assignment). Additionally, applicants will be expected to provide mentoring and leadership to students and student organizations and represent the university and degree program at various events (e.g., student recruiting open house). 
The appointment commences for the fall 2024 semester.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience: An MS in Human Resource Management or Industrial/Organizational Psychology is required prior to employment. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
Preferred Education and Experience: a PhD in Human Resource Management or Industrial/Organizational Psychology is preferred. Further, preference will be given to candidates who have applied work experience in Human Resources, specifically talent acquisition, performance management, and HR analytics. 
The Program and School

The position will support our BS in Human Resource Management, which is part of the Organizations, Strategy and International Management (OSIM) area within the Jindal School of Management. UT Dallas is located in Richardson, Texas offering access to all that the DFW metropolitan area has to offer from a pleasant suburban community.
