Department and College Information
The Economics department is one of six in the College of Business at UTA. The College offers a PhD in Business Administration with concentrations in several fields. The Economics department itself hosts a thriving MS program in Economic Data Analytics in addition to BS and BBA degrees offered at the undergraduate level.

Job Summary
The Department of Economics in the College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics faculty position. We encourage applicants from all fields of Economics. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to publish in the top field journals and/or equivalent. Teaching load will be 2-2, which likely includes upper division undergraduate classes and masters’ classes. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service. Strong communication skills are important.
Required Qualifications
PhD, Economics, completed by Spring 2022.
If ABD, assurance from committee chair of timely completion.
