Assistant / Associate Professor in Macroeconomics

The Robert Day School of Economics and Finance (RDS) at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship at the early assistant professor level. All subfields and areas of Macroeconomics will be considered including, but not limited to, development economics, financial economics, trade, monetary economics, and economic history. The position will begin on July 1, 2025. The successful candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D. by the time of the appointment.

The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to maintain an active, high-quality research program and the highest standards of excellence in teaching. The successful applicant will teach intermediate macroeconomics and in areas related to their expertise. The teaching load is two courses per semester. We seek candidates committed to cultivating an inclusive educational environment, with the ability to teach, mentor, and inspire students from a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds, political opinions, genders, races, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, and religions. Anticipated Annual Salary Range:

$125,000 - $135,000
