Assistant, Associate or Full Professor – Pediatric Anesthesia, Memphis (Tenure-Track Optional)

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of Anesthesiology, and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital invites you to consider an opportunity to serve as the Division Chief of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia.  This is a tenure track or non-tenure track position with academic rank commensurate with experience (assistant, associate or full professor), reporting directly to the Chair of the Department of Anesthesia at UTHSC.

The successful applicant will lead the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia and promote excellence through patient care, practice innovation, education, and research. The Division Chief and faculty will impact care for children and support for families by providing top notch anesthesia care for patients in the region.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications

MD or equivalent. Eligible candidates should be board certified by the ABA and eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency required and a pediatric fellowship, sub certifications/training highly preferred. Experience providing comprehensive services and leading an anesthesia group or division highly preferred. A Current certification DEA number, Eligible for malpractice insurance, Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site.
