Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The University of North Carolina, School of Law aspires to be a great public law school. Position Summary
The University of North Carolina School of Law invites applications for full-time faculty positions beginning Fall 2024. The school may fill up to seven tenured or tenure-track positions this year. The school intends to hire up to two faculty in any area of law and up to five positions with expertise in banking law, bankruptcy law, commercial law, corporate law, securities law, or tax law. We also welcome applications from candidates interested in teaching in our civil litigation clinic. Beginning and experienced teachers may apply to all positions
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
A distinguished academic record, and a record of, or the promise of, achievement as a teacher and scholar. Applicants should be enthusiastic about participating vigorously in the life of a vibrant public university law school community.
