Job Summary

 

The Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University invites applications for a non-tenure track Faculty of Engineering Practice at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. Purdue University seeks to attract exceptional candidates at any career level with interests and expertise in any area of civil engineering to encompass the built and natural environments. Successful candidates must hold an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline by the employment start date, hold a professional engineering license by the employment start date, and demonstrate potential to integrate their professional practice with the Lyles School of Civil Engineering’s education, discovery, and/or engagement/outreach programs. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and dual level courses that are taken by graduate students as well, conduct activities that contribute to their professional development, and leverage project-based learning into existing courses including senior design.
