The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine was founded in 1819 as the Medical College of Ohio and became part of the University of Cincinnati in 1896. It is the oldest medical college west of the Allegheny Mountains. The Division of Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites applications for a clinical track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level, in the areas of allergy/immunology.  Rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and programmatic expectations.

• The successful applicant will help expand our hospital-based ambulatory and inpatient Allergy and Immunology services for the health system.
• This expansion includes the development of a drug hypersensitivity and desensitization program to include antibiotics and therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
• The Division and the Department of Internal Medicine will provide the necessary financial and administrative support to achieve this goal. This includes 100% support for compensation (salary and benefits) for the first three years of the appointment.
• The Division has a successful fellowship training program and ample opportunity to mentor medical students, resident and fellow trainees.
• Protected time and support for research is available for the interested candidate.
• Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and includes an incentive plan that rewards clinical, educational and research productivity.    

Applicants for this faculty position must have all of the following prior to effective date of appointment:

• MD, DO or MD/PHD (or foreign equivalent).
• Ohio Medical License.
• Completion of 2-year fellowship in Allergy/Immunology.
• Board eligibility or certification in Allergy and Immunology.
