Position Summary
The IU School of Medicine (IUSM) Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology (ACBP) is seeking well-qualified and highly motivated applications for a tenure-track faculty position. All academic ranks (Assistant to Full Professor) will be considered. 
We seek innovative scientists using molecular, cellular, and whole animal approaches with expertise that will complement strengths in the department and school, including cardiovascular research, metabolism, cell biology, ion transport, cellular and in vivo imaging, bone biology, and neuroscience. Areas of particular interest include but are not limited to, integrative cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology, heart failure, hypertension, vascular disease, and related innovative imaging technologies. The IUSM is committed to advancing outstanding research in an integrated environment of basic science and clinical care. Faculty must be highly collaborative and eager to work in interdisciplinary teams across fields and participate in the entire research spectrum (basic science, translational, clinical). Opportunities exist for collaborations in translational research in centers such as the Krannert Cardiovascular Research Center, the Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health, the Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases, and throughout Indianapolis, including the thriving research program at the Roudebush VA Hospital. The successful applicant will have opportunities to engage in medical and graduate teaching.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or terminal degree required. Successful applicants must have PhD and/or MD degree.
