We invite applications for an open search to fill a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Department of Integrative Physiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

The Department of Integrative Physiology at Baylor College of Medicine maintains a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary research and education environment. Our faculty synergistically combine cutting-edge technologies and expertise within primary research areas of Biophysics and Bioengineering, Cardiovascular Sciences, Metabolism, Neural and Muscle Physiology, Regenerative Medicine, and Physiology of Cancer. We are particularly interested to recruit an exceptional new colleague to expand our research in Mitochondrial Function, Neuromodulation, or Cancer. Other focus areas include Gene and Drug Development, Gene Editing, Fibrosis and Inflammation, Metabolites, Digestive and Pulmonary Physiology, Nanotechnology and Bioengineering . The successful candidate is expected to establish a nationally and internationally recognized research program funded through extramural sources (NIH, NSF, etc.). In addition, the candidate is also expected to engage in scholarly activities, teaching, mentoring, and professional service both within the Department and throughout the College of Medicine.
