Scope of Job | Provide leadership for corporate partnership activities for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley department of intercollegiate athletics. Responsible to conceptualize and execute on sales and sponsorship programs that maximize profit margins and revenue targets. |
Description of Duties | Assistant Athletic Director for Corporate Partnerships
Associate Athletic Director of Corporate Partnerships will also be responsible for:

Supervision Received | General supervision from the VP & Athletics Director |
Supervision Given | Direct supervision of assigned staff. |
Required Education | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. |
Preferred Education | None. |
Licenses/Certifications | None. |
Required Experience | Assistant Athletic Director: Three (3) years of sales experience in a related field or in sales management and leadership. Associate Athletic Director: Four (4) years of sales experience in a related field or in sales management and leadership. |
Preferred Experience | Experience years in corporate sales at the collegiate or professional level. Experience with legal and financial implications of complex, multi-platform deals. |
Equipment | Use of standard office equipment. |
Working Conditions | Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office Environment; travel and weekend work is required. |
