Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:


This position is coordinator of all assessment reports with direct work with the Director of Institutional Assessment in maintaining the assessment documentation for the university and working with faculty and staff reporting needs.
  • Work with the Director of Institutional Assessment to provide oversight for the annual assessment plan and report submissions of both academic and non-academic programs.
  • Monitor the status and completeness of submitted assessment plans and reports to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and respond to assessment needs and/or requests from program and administrative assessment coordinators.
  • Assist the Director of Institutional Assessment with the University Studies assessment documentation in the University Assessment software.
  • Update program and administrative assessment profile information in the Assessment software based on the 3-year assessment cycle and changes approved by the University Assessment Committee and/or the Academic Council.
  • Assist in organizing assessment documentation as well as assessment meetings, trainings and workshops.
  • Maintain updated assessment resources within Institutional Effectiveness' shared drive, Google drive and Institutional Assessment website.
  • Participate in coordinating and facilitating assessment tasks with the University Assessment Committee.
  • Produce and compile assessment reports as needed or requested to support regional and professional accreditation reports.
  • Work with administrative support/student worker to provide assistance with ad hoc and/or scheduled assessment reports.
  • Serve as a repository for institutional assessment information, evidence and reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Three years of experience within the field of education and/or assessment required. Additional college may be exchanged year-for-year to meet qualifications.
  • Data analysis understanding with the ability to organize reports.
  • Keyboarding, office management and procedures, word processing, database management, and understanding of Excel.
  • Assessment and database experience with organization skills to foster excellence in communication with faculty and staff.
