Summary of Position | The Assessment and Continuous Improvement Specialist is part of the Center for Institutional Effectiveness for Educational Excellence. The Center promotes and expands the use of research and data-informed strategic decisions in support of educational innovations and excellence. The Assessment and Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting assessment and continuous improvement in educational excellence and accreditation across all colleges. This requires providing expertise and coordination across a wide range of activities in supporting college-based and institutional continual improvement efforts. Activities can include but are not limited to programmatic assessment, educational outcomes measurements, impact assessment of student success interventions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This can be a remote position with the expectation of routine visits to campus as needed to facilitate the progress of the work and responsibilities. The Assessment and Continuous Improvement Specialist must possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of assessment methodologies, the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff and senior administrators, and a passion for enhancing educational excellence. The Assessment and Continuous Improvement Specialist should possess excellent organizational skills and must be able to prioritize and manage multiple short and long-term projects to meet deadlines. The Assessment and Continuous Improvement Specialist will perform other related duties as required and deemed appropriate in support of the Center of Institutional Effectiveness for Educational Excellence. |
