Detailed Position Information
The Mathematics Department at The University of Alabama invites applications for one renewable full-time instructor positions. The appointment will begin on August 16, 2024 and is a two-year term with the possibility of renewal based on funding, availability, and performance. The successful candidates will primarily teach lower division courses ranging among college algebra, precalculus and trigonometry, and calculus. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching in both large and small lectures, learning management systems (such as Blackboard), and have some experience working in a mathematics tutoring center or similar environment.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate level mathematics.
