Nature of Work: Instructor in this position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music education, as well as other major courses and /or applied lessons (voice) commensurate with background and experience.  
Training and Experience: Applicants for the position is required to have a Doctorate degree in Music Education, or area academic or performance specialty. Applicants who are currently, or are nearing ABD status will be considered. Applicants with backgrounds in choral music or piano as a primary or secondary emphasis will be given priority consideration. Knowledge of computers and computer technology is highly desirable.  
Illustrative Examples of Work: Faculty member will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the music and music education curriculums. Creative endeavors, i.e. recitals, participation in performance ensembles, or other scholarly activities are strongly encouraged.
