Shift
Variable hours for both Summer Session and Fall Semester.  
Summer session classes for the Fine Arts Institute meet from June 30 to August 4 on Thursdays, 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  
Fall semester courses at the School of Art & Visual Studies meet from August 24 to December 2, Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00am  11:50am.
Models are not scheduled for every class every week. Please indicate your availability in the cover letter along with your application. 
Job Summary
The School of Art and Visual Studies at the College of Fine Arts is currently seeking Art Models for drawing classes. Models are expected to pose nude for student course work and should be able to hold poses from 30 seconds to as long as 45 minutes. While athletic ability is not required, body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend and accentuate the 3-dimensional qualities of the figure in poses is highly desirable. The work is performed under supervision of the class instructor during class hours.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic, and the need to protect our university community including our students, staff, faculty and visitors, the University of Kentucky is requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all new hires and rehires. Prior to the first day of employment, all new hires and rehires must submit appropriate documentation showing, i) completion of the first vaccination against COVID-19, or ii) completion of the full vaccination series against COVID-19, or iii) approved exemption (medical contraindications or a sincerely held religious belief) through the formal exemption process from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement. For those who have completed the first vaccination against COVID-19 prior to their first day of employment, the second vaccination (if applicable) must be completed following the vaccination recommended schedule to be considered fully vaccinated.
