The department of the Miami Project has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Art Director to work at UHealth. The Art Director oversees the creative design of assigned art projects and directs and develops visual imagery and products that communicate the institution's vision and marketing objectives effectively.

  • Manages coordination of brand identification and social media campaign with creation of new website and social media campaign with Director of Communications for both The Miami Project and The Buoniconti Fund.

  • Coordinates event invitation creation and production.

  • Oversees the ongoing maintenance of The Miami Project’s and The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis’ website.  

  • Oversees the creation and distribution of electronic newsletter and department article submissions.

  • Works closely with senior leadership for content relating to science and donations.

  • Manages all aspects of multiple Volunteer Chapters who raise both funds and awareness of ongoing research at The Miami Project.

  • Coordinates all aspects of fundraising auctions, both online and at events, including layouts, materials, placements, securing of items, preparation of all materials for auction, auction sales, etc.

  • Administers multiple constituent databases including the creation or recommendation of policies and procedures.

  • Ensures data integrity by performing monthly integrity reports as well as ongoing maintenance of data.

  • Performs updates to databases on a periodic basis.

  • Manages data entry of information maintained in our constituent management system.

  • Maintains method of online donations according to University regulations.

  • Utilizes site servers as a key information tool for the department’s constituents.

  • Assumes responsibility for the training of users including new training and refresher courses.

  • Manages event attendees and sponsorships including tickets, table assignments, bidders, etc.    

  • Manages solicitation of item procurement for auctions.

  • Manages auction and non-auction inventory.                                                                                       

  • Serves as primary source for department users for the coordination of mailings, projects, queries, and publications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • MS Office

  • WordPress

  • BidPal

Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
